The Cannabis Act took effect on 17 October 2018. Cannabis incidents before and after that date are not the same offence. Cannabis incidents fell sharply after that date. Other drug incidents did not. The drop in the total is that break, not other drugs going away.
These are unregulated drug deaths by where the injury happened in Vancouver. They are not the municipal police drug incidents.

The Vancouver Police GeoDASH extract used for the crime pages does not publish a drug offence. These counts are the municipal police-service table, not that extract, and they are not mapped to local areas.
Impaired driving is not in these drug charts.
These measures are not added into a drug index or used to rank cities. There is no neighbourhood drug map.
